How to handle Windows 10 and 11 updates

Your software was able to read the file after some hours of scanning and i was able to export keys, but the file was too damaged to use as a replacement SYSTEM HIVE, for windows to load. Was trying to avoid this reinstall due to all software and hardware used by this PC and their corresponding settings.

How to Upgrade Windows 8 to Windows 10

The most commonly used way is to press the Windows Key + R, type in regedit and press enter. In the right pane, you’ll see a list of files, or “strings,” contained within the Reg Key you selected. To create a new Reg Key, right-click the key location where you want to create the new key. Hover the mouse on the New option in the menu that opens, then select Key from the submenu that opens after that. There are a few things to keep in mind when using Windows 10 Regedit to ensure you don’t cause damage to your OS. The first is to always make a backup, either via a System Restore point or Regedit’s export function for the specific key you’re going to change. It will only allow you to reset the Windows 10 registry if you built a restore point right after you kick-started using your new PC.
